Sometimes appearing on my back 

& sides…

& thighs…

Well fuck I mean everywhere

Some say its a sign of womanhood 

While others think its nothing to give honor to

I say its weight gain

& something to cover

After hours of analyzing & criticizing 

I realized this is a part of the temple 

The temple that kept me safe

The temple that makes me, me

So instead of looking at them as something that is not deemed as beautiful 

Look at them as a badge of honor
