where they try to create women as characters and control their every move is insane

RIGHT

way because

MY BODY GOES THROUGH ENOUGH

 

Goes through a pain monthly that’s most times unbearable

Don’t tell me what my body should look like

 

Whether a woman’s body is slim or thick , or both

A woman’s body is beautiful

 

A woman’s body is precious no matter the shape or form

 

I don’t have to fit into your little code .

Quite frankly I don’t care to fit into your little game because

I think it’s not realistic and it’s dumb .

apologize to your body, 

your disgust, disgusts me, 

your vessel carries your soul 

 

your thoughts 

your creativity 

your laughter 

your tears 

 

and you can not even look at your body, 

without judgemental eyes 

i know it was not always like this 

 

you were conditioned to compare your size 

to stare with the male gaze 

in ways that are so unfair 

 

it makes me want to throw up.
