The freezing cold wind

Tests my melancholia---

How long for the heat?

 

 

April fools and allergies 

Rainbow of blooming flowers--  

the blues songs of birds     

 

 

My intentions strong

But my resistance severe--

Sharp insomnia

 

 

Foolish illusions

You cannot run from yourself,

soul’s midwinter night

 

 

Humiliation--

More freedom and inner peace

Needs your acceptance 

 

 

 

Solitude is strong

Isolation, long and lonely

Break free, grow wings, fly!
