What if you stayed?

Our lives would be different for everyone if you stayed 

I love you even if I don’t know you 

You’re probably mad at me

But I miss you 

 

You were my sunshine and I didn’t know

I needed you until it was too late 

So small and made with love 

But the timing was wrong 

 

Please forgive me 

I promise not to forget you 

A certain song only you and I know

Makes me cry 

 

You will forever be my little peanut 

The one I love unconditionally

No matter what anyone else says about 

Me or you 

 

Please know it wasn’t you 

Mommy just wasn’t ready 

Please understand that mommy was trying to heal 

And that caused her to act out in many ways. 

But she never blamed you 

 

She said goodbye 

Hoping for the day you could come back  into the life you deserve

Sleep well baby, Mommy will forever love you!
